This photo was taken looking northeast by
the General Railway Signal Company who installed
the semaphore signaling system on right in
1914. The semaphore is in the stop
position. For an idea of the distance to the
station building... the poles on left are spaced
110 to 120 feet apart. 110 on
the semaphore stands for 11.0 miles from
Tacoma. Therefore the station is probably
at about 11.1 miles from Tacoma. The photo
